Suspect, diagnose, and confirm sepsis
10 Sept 2023In this brochure, Beckman Coulter describes the steps involved in diagnosing sepsis and the points where its technology can be utilized to assist in the process. Without timely treatment, sepsis can rapidly progress to tissue damage, organ failure, and death. Upon suspicion of sepsis, blood samples can be analyzed with the DxH 900 Analyzer and urine samples with the DxU Iris Analyzer. Further testing can then be performed with the DxC700 AU Analyzer and the Dxl 9000 Access Immunoassay Analyzer. Finally, for confirmation, the pathogen can be identified with the DxM MicroScan WalkAway ID/AST System.
