The benefits of measuring pesticides with low-pressure gas chromatography and triple-quadrupole mass spectrometry

Measuring residual pesticides in foods, cannabis, and consumer products is an important part of product safety. Due to the regulations surrounding pesticide content in consumer goods, there are many analytical and research laboratories doing pesticide analysis every day. Gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS) is an effective way to separate, identify, and quantitate pesticides. In this application note, the benefits of using low-pressure GC-MS to measure pesticides are outlined.
