The Case for CASE—Saving Time and Effort with Computer-Assisted Structure Elucidation in Routine Analysis

25 Dec 2019

Unknown chemical compounds with novel moieties often require extensive spectroscopic analysis or synthesis to deduce their correct structure. Using a novel modified base, acremolin, as an example, this application note demonstrates how employing computer-assisted structure elucidation (CASE) can help to reduce the exhaustive analytical work required.
