The Identification and Quantitation of Trace-Level Compounds in Beer by GC–TOF MS

This Application Note describes the application of a BenchTOF time-of-flight mass spectrometer to the analysis of trace-level flavor compounds extracted from beer. Highlighted is the production of ‘classical’ spectra matching those in commercial libraries, and the generation of linear responses at sub-ppb levels.
