Thermal Analysis of the Recrystallisation Behaviour of Lipid Nanodispersions (LND)

4 Apr 2013

Lipid nanodispersions are colloidal drug delivery systems. The melting and crystallisation properties of colloidally dispersed glycerides differ from those of their bulk materials. Concerning the production process, the solidification and crystallisation after melt homogenisation must be ensured to obtain a sustained drug release. This poster describes the thermal analysis of the recrystallisation behaviour of lipid nanodispersion.
