Titanium Dioxide Nanoparticle Dispersions in Cell Culture Media Characterized by High-Throughput DLS

20 Aug 2017

Characterization of nanoparticle size and distribution in biological environments and understanding the parameters that affect them are imperative to accurately assess nanoparticle toxicity. This application note describes a study in which TiO2 nanoparticle size is determined using the DynaPro™ Dynamic Light Scattering Detector by Wyatt Technology Corp. The study demonstrates that this method is a convenient and effective tool and for evaluating the effects of different dispersing agents much faster than conventional “batch” DLS.
