TOC Detection in Solids: Comparison of the TOC Suspension Method and Common Dry Combustion

In this application note, Analytik Jena compare the dry combustion and suspension method for determination of TOC in a soil sample. The methods are compared with regard to the measuring effort, handling and reproducibility of the results. In addition, TOC determination in samples of differing homogeneity is assessed.
