TOC – Determination according to USP 643 (USP 36-NF 31)

The TOC parameter is a measure of water quality based on the organic contamination within a water sample. TOC determination has proven to be so effective that it has now replaced the wet chemical test for determination of impurities in water. This application note explains what this change in water quality determination regulation means for users of Shimadzu’s TOC systems.
