According to United States Pharmacopeia (USP), Total Organic Carbon (TOC) analyzers must be able to detect TOC at 0.1 mg/L or less. This application note introduces an example of a TOC system suitability test, using the Shimadzu TOC-LCPH combustion catalytic oxidation analyzer.
