Due to the huge diversity of plastics, the requirements for sample preparation can vary greatly. In this application note, the RETSCH SM 300 cutting mill, ZM 200 centrifugal mill and CryoMill are used to grind a range of plastics, including soft and elastic plastics. The prepared samples can then be subsequently analyzed for PAH and plasticizers.
