Versatility of the Multi-Parameter UNit Approach in Characterizing a Range of Protein Formulations

26 Oct 2016

This application note describes a study in which the UNit was used to measure the thermal stability of a range of proteins of different sizes, sequences, structures and functions across several pH conditions. The UNit characterizes proteins by simultaneously measuring fluorescence and SLS and applying multiple analyses to the data. The results show that the UNit is a versatile instrument which can be applied to a range of proteins including large multi-domain proteins, proteins which display unusual intrinsic fluorescence behavior and proteins containing chemical quenchers.
