Advancing Cytotoxicity Workflows using EnSight Multimode Plate Reader with Imaging

Dr. Philip Gribbons’ work at Fraunhofer IME is focussed on small molecule drug discovery, mainly with targets form academia. His work is largely targeted on anti-cancer drug discovery. In this video he discusses how PerkinElmer’s EnSight Multimode Plate Readers reduce his workflow time and allow him to measure confluency levels of cells easily and quickly using the brightfield illumination option. This in turn enables analysis of local texture, teasing out greater information on earlystage cytotoxic and cytostatic effects of potential drugs.
