Speakers
Jennifer Roof is a research technician at the CHOP-Penn Proteomics Core Facility in Philadelphia, PA, where she works as a sample preparation specialist, streamlining and adapting workflows for a vast array of sample types and project goals. In years prior, Jennifer taught high school chemistry and obtained her M.S.Ed. from Temple University. She developed her wet lab skills as an immunology research assistant in the Oliver Lab at CHOP while pursuing her degree in Biology at the University of Pennsylvania.
Sameer Vasantgadkar joined Covaris in 2016 and has been serving as the Sr. Manager of Omics Solutions since 2023. He has a master’s in chemical engineering and has over 15 years of experience in the life science industry. Sameer and his team have led numerous efforts to refine sample preparation workflows, enhancing their efficiency for subsequent genomic and proteomic analyses. Prior to joining Covaris, Sameer spent 10 years at ANDE, where he was a key contributor in launching multiple products by leading different product modules.
