Enhance plasma proteomics with automated sample preparation

Monday, April 28, 2025 at 16:00 BST / 17:00 CEST / 11:00 EDT / 08:00 PDT

Plasma samples are invaluable in proteomics research due to their rich protein content, which provides insights into biomarkers and disease states. However, preparing these samples for analysis presents challenges, particularly in enriching low-abundance proteins amidst a high dynamic range.

PreOmics' ENRICH-iST kit addresses these challenges by offering a robust, all-in-one solution that simplifies the enrichment of low-abundance proteins in plasma, serum, and cerebrospinal fluid samples. When automated on the Beckman Coulter Life Sciences Biomek i7 Dual Hybrid Workstation, researchers can increase sample throughput and reduce errors caused by manual handling.

In this webinar, experts from the Center for Life Science Automation will explore the automation of the ENRICH-iST kit on the Biomek i7 workstation, demonstrating its impact on proteomics workflows and the advantages of integrating automation into sample preparation.

Key learning objectives:

  • Understand the challenges of plasma sample preparation in proteomics and how the ENRICH-iST kit addresses these issues.
  • Explore the automation of the ENRICH-iST kit with the Biomek i7 Dual Hybrid Workstation.
  • Learn about the improvements in throughput, reproducibility, and data quality achieved through automation.

Who should attend?

  • Proteomics researchers and laboratory technicians seeking efficient sample preparation methods.
  • Laboratories aiming to enhance throughput and reproducibility in proteomic analyses.
  • Scientists interested in automating sample preparation workflows.
