Dr. Ewa Gajewska is Head of Product Management for SYNTHIA™ Retrosynthesis Software in Merck KGaA Darmstadt Germany. She graduated in biotechnology and chemistry from the Gdansk University of Technology and was a recipient of the Outstanding Achievements Award from Poland’s Minister of Science and Higher Education. She received her PhD from Institute of Organic Chemistry at the Polish Academy of Sciences, where she focused on the development of the SYNTHIA™ Retrosynthesis Software for computer-assisted synthetic planning. She participated in all stages of software’s design, both in the context of expanding the chemical knowledge base and the algorithms.
