Ila Bharati Summitt is a sustainability program manager at My Green Lab. She primarily supports labs around the world through the My Green Lab Certification process and shares sustainability best practices based on her 15+ years of experience in government, academic, and biotech laboratories. Prior to joining My Green Lab, she worked with Novartis’ global Environmental Sustainability network to execute sustainable practices at her worksite. As chair of the Green Team, she partnered with local organizations to collect thousands of pounds of waste in beach cleanups and hazardous/e-waste collection events, implementing polystyrene recycling, donation of unused office products to local charities, and more.

Amy Armstrong manages the Thermo Scientific Matrix 2D automation-friendly sample storage tubes product portfolio. With 16 years of experience in product management, she focuses on identifying customers’ needs and finding solutions. Since joining Thermo Fisher, she has turned her attention to understanding the biobanking market, customers’ workflows, and their sample storage protocols.

Michael Taylor is the commercial manager of the Americas for ultra-low temperature (ULT) freezers at Thermo Fisher Scientific. He started his career in the lab working on cancer research and has spent the last 16 years providing laboratory equipment solutions to the life science industry. His decade-long tenure at Thermo Fisher is marked by a deep understanding of customer workflows and their needs, the implementation of innovative cold storage and asset management solutions in the lab, and a love for science.
