Speakers

Dirk Döhler has a background in Chemistry and joined ZEISS in 2022. In his current role, he is an application specialist for the EVO, Sigma and GeminiSEM product series performing product demonstrations and customer trainings. He is supporting the development of ZEN core for electron microscopes from an application point of view.

Markus Boese is an application specialist in the materials science team at ZEISS Microscopy in Oberkochen. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Bonn. Throughout his research in electron microscopy, he has collaborated with several research institutions, including the Ernst Ruska Center in Jülich, Trinity College in Dublin, and the National Center for Electron Microscopy in Berkeley. At ZEISS, his current focus is on characterizing materials using various microscopy techniques.
