Point-of-care IT connectivity and data management webinar series – Session Three: Postanalytical
Join us for this new webinar series to understand the importance of effective POC-IT connectivity and data management within hospital settings. Having a strong data network (including cybersecurity) across hospital diagnostic analyzers greatly improves the efficiency of workflows throughout departments.
These webinars will walk through the entire diagnostic testing workflow, from the sample collection and preanalytical phase, to the analytical phase, and finally the post-analytical and data management phase.
Session Three: Postanalytical
- Ensure test result accuracy and documentation (compliance)
- Integration of results and sent to the correct location, sending patient result to EMR, and final reports to HCP for clinical intervention
- Have accurate and timely data access and management
- Recall of patient records and security, ensuring availability of middleware that enables correcting of results when archiving data (cover what kinds of procedures are involved)
