Point-of-care IT connectivity and data management webinar series – Session Two: Analytical
Join us for this new webinar series to understand the importance of effective POC-IT connectivity and data management within hospital settings. Having a strong data network (including cybersecurity) across hospital diagnostic analyzers greatly improves the efficiency of workflows throughout departments.
These webinars will walk through the entire diagnostic testing workflow, from the sample collection and preanalytical phase, to the analytical phase, and finally the post-analytical and data management phase.
Session Two: Analytical
- How to secure correct data entry (i.e. barcoding and indexing)
- Efficient lookup functions (patient accession), integration of systems
- Quality testing on devices, turnaround time of test result reporting
- Ease of use (both on analyzers/hardware and also the UI)
- Reduce possible errors on usability (i.e. fewer steps to complete, ease of access, labels and datasets are distinguishable from error codes)
- General usability (how IT is supporting devices)
