Medium-chain specific acyl-CoA dehydrogenase, mitochondrial (ACADM) catalyzes the following reaction: Acyl-CoA + acceptor = 2,3-dehydroacyl-CoA + reduced acceptor. ACADM is specific for acyl chain lengths of 4 to 16.
