Adenylate cyclase type 6 (ADCY6) is membrane-bound, calcium-inhibitable adenylyl cyclase by calcium concentrations in the submicromolar range. ADCY6 catalyzes the following reaction: ATP = 3',5'-cyclic AMP + diphosphate.
