Description
Reacts with a mucin-like glycoprotein larger than 200 kDa, expressing the CA125 epitope. CA125 is a tumour marker usually associated with ovarian malignancies. This antibody reacts positive with the majority of ovarian tumours of serous, endometrioid and clear cell types. The CA125 antigen is not exclusively restricted to malignant tumours. Positive control: Mucinous ovarian adenocarcinomas.
