Description
CB-CALA reacts with CD10 or CALLA, a cell surface enzyme with neutral metalloendopeptidase activity, inactivating a variety of biologically active peptides. CD10 is a 100 kDa glycoprotein, expressed on 70% of pre-B ALL cells (common ALL), but also on early lymphoid progenitor cells in bone marrow and fetal liver. Other normal CD10 positive tissues include renal epithelium, fibroblasts and germinal centre B-cells
