MH16-1 recognizes IgG heavy chains. The epitope is present on the Fc part of IgG. No cross reactivity with IgA or IgM (tested with ELISA).Suitable for lymphoma phenotyping. Multiple myelomas are of the IgG or IgA type. Suitable for characterization of plasma cells in inflammatory conditions.Positive control: tonsil
