Description
IL17B is a disulfide-linked homodimer, also known as Cytokine CX1, NIRF [neuronal interleukin-17-related factor; neuronal IL17-related factor], Zcyto7, and IL20. IL17B is expressed by T-cells and stimulates the release of TNF-alpha and IL1-beta in the monocytic cell line, THP-1. It does not induce expression of IL1-alpha, IL6, IFN-gamma, or G-CSF in these cells.1,2 IL-17B is known to stimulate the proliferation of chondrocytes, bone, and is highly expressed in nervous tissue, resulting in repair of diseased tissue. IL-17B, either alone or in combination with other cytokines or growth factors is known to aid wound healing.

Handling
- Quantity: 50 µg
- Storage: The lyophilized, biotinylated antigen affinity purified polyclonal antibody can be stored desiccated at -20°C to -70°C for up to twelve months from date of receipt. The reconstituted biotin conjugate can be stored for at least four weeks at 2-8°C. For long-term storage of the reconstituted conjugate, aseptically aliquot into working volumes and store at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles. No detectable loss of activity was observed after six months.
