Tumor necrosis factor-beta (TNF beta) also known as lymphotoxin alpha (LT alpha), is a multifaceted pro-inflammatory cytokine which may mediate some of the significant changes in cellular homeostasis which accompany the invasion of the mammalian host by viruses, bacteria, and parasites.1 TNF beta has been implicated in the pathogenesis of several autoimmune diseases and it plays a significant role in the etiopathogenesis of multiple sclerosis (MS).2

The reconstituted biotin conjugate can be stored for at least four weeks at 2-8°C. For long-term storage of the reconstituted conjugate, aseptically aliquot into working volumes and store at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles. No detectable loss of activity was observed after six months.
