Description
Reacts with cytokeratins present in most simple epithelia from small intestine and colon mucosa, hepatocytes, pancreatic acini and renal tubules. Also some squamous non-cornifying epithelia are positive. Does not stain the epithelium of the stomach. C46 is directed against cytokeratin 7 and 17. Immunoblotting : antibody is directed against the 54 kD and 46 kD cytokeratin proteins (resp. Keratin 7 and 17)
