Description
Rabbit anti-Rat KITLG polyclonal antibody for ELISA, WB. Rabbit anti Rat Stem Cell Factor antibody specifically recognizes rat stem cell factor (SCF), a type I transmembrane protein and haematopoietic growth factor which acts in synergy with other growth factors, and signals through the receptor tyrosine kinase c-Kit (CD117). The interaction between SCF and c-Kit regulates developmental and functional processes of haematopoietic progenitor cells, mast cells, myelanocytes and germ cells, and plays an important role in follicular development. The interaction between SCF and c-Kit is associated with the progression and invasiveness of some tumours, including melanomas.
