Description
Reacts with a type I integral membrane glycoprotein (Mr 140 kD), present on a subpopulation of B-cells (mature B-cells) and on dendritic reticulum cells. No cross-reactivity with other lymphoid cells was observed. CD 21 antigen (also called CR2) is the receptor for C3d and for EBV. The antibody is useful for typing of mature leukemias and lymphomas
