The adenomatous polyposis coli protein (APC) is a tumor suppressor that promotes rapid degradation of catenin-beta 1 (CTNNB1) and participates in Wnt signaling. The GSK3-beta protein kinase regulates its activity by phosphorylation. APC binds to PDZ domains of DLG1 and 3, to catenins, axin and MAPRE protein family including the EB members. This antibody recognizes an epitope in the C-terminal half of the mouse APC in ELISA, Western blot and immunofluorescent staining.
