Description
This Biotinylated Histone H3 antibody is used as a reporter antibody in Active Motif’s Histone H3 PTM Multiplex Kit (Catalog No. 33115). The Histone H3 PTM Multiplex Assay offers multiplex analysis of histone post-translational modifications (PTMs) from nanogram quantities of acid extracted cell lysates or purified histones using the Luminex 200 or MAGPIX instruments. Ten different antibody-conjugated beads are available, each specific for a different histone modification and containing a different fluorescent label. This enables researchers to customize their assays simply by selecting the antibody-conjugated beads for their PTMs of interest, then adding them to the same sample. (If desired, singleplex analysis is also possible.) Inclusion of a Histone H3 Total antibody bead set into the multiplex reaction enables normalization of histone PTM levels across different samples.
