Description
Rabbit polyclonal antibody to BNP also known as gamma-brain natriuretic peptide or brain natriuretic peptide32 whose expression can be detected in the heart but it is highly expressive in the brain and atria. It is found in the perinuclear space of cytoplasm. This protein specifically binds and stimulates the cGMP production of the NPR1 receptor. It also plays an extensive role in cardiovascular homeostatis through natriuresis; diuresis; vasorelaxation; and inhibition of renin and aldosterone secretion.
