Description
The CD24 antibody recognizes a 35-45 kDa glycosyl-phosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored glycoprotein expressed on B cells, including the pre-B cells to the mature B cells but not on plasma cells. CD24 antigen is also present on mature granulocytes and on a variety of epithelial cell. CD24 is involved in the regulation of B cell proliferation and maturation.
