Description
Rabbit polyclonal antibody to CD34; which are stromal cells; are called dendritic interstitial cells. CD34 cells are mostly known for their expression on hematopoietic progenitor cells found in bone marrow and cord blood. CD34 is a 110 kDa surface marker/ surface adhesion molecule expressed in the umbilical cord. It is a marker of hematopoietic progenitor cells; stromal precursors; vascular endothelial cells; and a variety of stromal tumor cells. Diseases associated with CD34 include Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans and Hypercalcemic Type Ovarian Small Cell Carcinoma. Antibodies to CD34 can be used to study leukocyte migration. CD34; also known as CD34F or HPCA 1; is the gene symbol for CD34 molecule.
