ELISA
Specificity: The antibody is specific to chloramphenicol (CAP) but the affinity data has not been provided so I have to struggle selecting my coating. Sensitivity: The antibody can be used for developing highly sensitive ELISA, for example, I successfully developed an ELISA with 0.1 ng/mL sensitivity at just 2 µg/mL of coating. Quality: I faced a little issue with the clone change in the same lot which didn’t give color in the ELISA. However, Biorbyt was kind enough to replace both the vials with new ones and with more quantity than the presentation, free of cost. This helped me control the cost of the method development. Consistency in concentration and performance can be further improved.
