Description
Etodolac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug used for the treatment of inflammation and pain associated with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Etodolac has been shown to have a preferential selectivity towards cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), the enyme responsible for producing the prostaglandins assoaciated with pain and inflammation.
