Description
The quinolones are a family of synthetic broad-spectrum antibiotics. The term quinolone(s) refers to potent synthetic chemotherapeutic antibacterial agents which have a quinolone structure. Fluoroquinolones contain a fluorine atom attached to the central ring system. Norfloxacin, a fluoroquinolone, is used to treat complicated urinary tract infections, although serious adverse reactions limit its use. This antibody can detect numerous fluoroquinolones, such as norfloxacin, enrofloxacin, ofloxacin, enoxacin, or danofloxacin in an EIA format. Norfloxacin-HRP ligand is available on request.
