Description
Human GLP-2 (hGLP-2) is a peptide hormone of the glucagon-family produced by the L cells of the intestial mucosa and originates from the same prohormone as glucagon. GLP-2 has been shown to be an important growth factor for the intestinal mucosa. This antibody is specific for hGLP-2. Cross-reactivity with GLP-2 from other species has not been determined.
