Description
Rabbit polyclonal antibody to GPR109A which is also known as Hydroxycarboxylic acid receptor 2. It is a high affinity G-protein coupled receptor for nicotinic acid and beta-hydroxybutyrate. It is expressed in adipose tissue and spleen. It mediates increased adiponectin secretion and decreased lipolysis through G protein-mediated inhibition of adenylyl cyclase. It mediates nicotinic acid mediated neutrophil apoptosis. Present antibody detects human GPR109A.
