Description
Human anti golimumab (drug/target complex) antibody, clone AbD20893_hIgG1 is a Type 3 anti-idiotypic antibody that specifically recognizes golimumab when bound to tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) i.e. the drug/target complex. Clone AbD20893_hIgG1 does not recognize unbound golimumab nor free TNF&alpha. Human anti golimumab (drug/target complex) antibody, clone AbD20893_hIgG1 may be used to measure golimumab when captured by immobilized human TNFα or golimumab/TNFα levels in serum from patients.Golimumab, marketed under the brand name Simponi, is a recombinant human IgG1/kappa monoclonal antibody approved for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.
