KL15 (Krueppel-like factor 15) is a transcriptional activator. KL15 binds to the GA element of the CLCNKA promoter. KL15 is highly expressed in liver, followed by heart, skeletal muscle and kidney. KL15 is not expressed in bone marrow or lymphoid tissues.
