Description
Rabbit Anti-Rat CREB (Phospho S133) polyclonal antibody for WB. This product is specific for rat cyclic AMP response element binding protein (CREB), when phosphorylated at serine 133. CREB is a member of the leucine zipper family of transcription factors, which is involved in a wide range of intracellular signalling processes. Phosphorylation of serine 133 has been demonstrated by several protein kinases, including protein kinase A (PKA), mitogen activated protein kinase (MAPK) and Ca2+ /calmodulin- dependent protein kinase (CaMK). This phophorylation is required for CREB mediated transcription. Western Blotting detects a band of approximately 45kDa in rat hippocampus lysates that had been incubated in the presence of forskolin. Applications：WB
