Description
Human Anti-Human SMC1A (Phospho S957) polyclonal antibody for IP; WB. This product is specific for human structural maintenance of chromosomes-1 (SMC1) which is phosphorylated at Ser957. SMC1 forms a heterodimer with SMC3, and is involved in sister chromatid cohesion and in DNA recombination and repair. SMC1 can be phosphorylated by ATM on serines 957 and 966 in vitro and in vivo in response to ionizing radiation. for details. SMC1 is also thought to act as a downstream effector in the ATM/NBS1 pathway of S-phase checkpoint. Western Blotting detects a band of approximately 150 kDa in HeLa cell lysates following treatment with 10 Gy ionizing radiation. Applications：IP; WB
