Description
Rabbit Anti-Rat Tau (Phospho S416) polyclonal antibody for WB. This product recognises the approximately 59, 65 and 68kDa isoforms of tau when phosphorylated at Ser416. Tau is a heterogeneous group of proteins that are involved in microtubule assembly. In healthy brain tissue tau is localised to the axons of neurons. Hyperphosphorylated tau is a major component of paired helical filaments in Alzheimer's disease brain. Serine 416 is a major phosphorylation site. Western Blotting detects bands of approximately 59, 65 and 68kDa in rat brain. Applications：WB
