Description
Mi-2 beta is a member of the SWI/SNF ATP-dependant superfamily of chromatin remodeling enzymes. In addition to the SNF2 ATPase domain, Mi-2 beta contains a Chromodomain and two PHD domains. Mi-2 beta is part of the NuRD nucleosome remodeling and histone deacetylase complex, and is involved in transcriptional repression of a number of target genes.
