Description
MyoD (Myogenic differentiation factor 1, Myf-3), is a transcription factor belonging to the myogenic factors family that contains a basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) DNA-binding domain. MyoD is the central regulator in the signaling pathways that regulate muscle development.
