Description
Neurocan core protein (neurocan) modulates neuronal adhesion and neurite growth during development by binding to neural cell adhesion molecules (NG-CAM and N-CAM). Neurocan is a chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan, and binds to hyaluronic acid.
