Description
Neurogenic basic-helix-loop-helix protein (neurogenin-1) is involved in neuronal differentiation. Neurogenin-1 expression restricted to the embryonic nervous system. The binding of neurogenin-1 to DNA requires dimerization with another bHLH protein.
