NKR (Neuromedin K receptor) is a receptor for the tachykinin neuropeptide neuromedin K (neurokinin B). It is associated with G proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. NKR belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.
