Description
The nuclei antibody is an excellent marker for human cells in xenographic model research. The nuclei antibody reacts specifically with human cells, including neurons and embryonic stem cells, with no reactivity to rat or mouse cells. This antibody stains nuclei of all human cell types giving a diffuse nuclear staining pattern. Chromosomes are negatively stained in metaphase cells. The antibody works on acetone or paraformaldehyde-fixed cells. Cell permeabilization with 0.1-0.4% Triton X100 is recommended. The antibody was positively tested on paraformaldehyde-fixed cryostat sections for immunohistochemistry.
